The gang was founded in the late 1980's composed of black youths, who were local juvenile delinquents, outcast, and criminals. The youth was just like any other low-incomed black community at the time North Long beach housings were designed just for low-income citizens and the incoming hordes of immigrants that rained in from the Caribbean and islander countries in the 70's after the war. Tensions of Long Beach growing with gangs and violence within communities, caused the group of reckless and young teenagers to embrace the gang mentality, taking heavy influence of the Crip movement that steamrolled throughout Southern California the 1970s-1990s . Adopting the name of Naughty Nasty Crips, the gang took part in small petty crimes that ranged from thievery, vandalism, and disorderly conduct.Conflict merged quick, arguments would break out into full-blown parties, parties would be trashed or simple confrontations would occur. Only a couple blocks away from nearby gangs, expected to bump heads at any time of the day, living up to their name, they were rumored not to play fair and to be scandalous, in the still of nights or broad day-lights; clashes in the street would break out, leaving several people injured at the end.
